The story of the hero

Rasputnyi Serhii, graduated from NAU (NUBIP) in 2004, and also graduated from the military department there.

From 2018 to February 24, 2022, he worked at the Aibolit veterinary hospital in Pryluky, Chernihiv region, as a chief doctor, specializing in orthopedics, and is also a co-owner of this hospital. He has a wife, Yulia, who is also a veterinarian, and two daughters, Anyusia and Adelka, the eldest of whom is also entering the NUBIP this year. His hobbies are fishing and mountain tourism.

On February 24, he voluntarily went to the Pryluky TRO, stood in line for a day to receive weapons, and on February 25, he stood at a checkpoint where he stood until Chernihiv region was liberated. He remained in the TRO.

Currently, he is performing a combat mission as part of the 164th Battalion of the 119th Brigade in the Bakhmut direction, commander of a platoon of sappers, has the rank of senior lieutenant, and this year he entered a military university to receive a second degree.
